C-Quip Floats to Safety

C-Quip has launched an innovative buoyancy aid for the personal safety market. Their latest solution is the self-inflating Throw Raft, which “does what it says on the can”—it inflates on impact with the water.

When inflated the device measures 22”x21” (56×53 cm). It has been approved by the US Coast Guard and has received Type approval from Lloyd’s Register. The device can be easily stored, measuring just 11”x4” (28×10 cm) uninflated. The company claims it can be thrown 40+ feet (12 meters), either packed or inflated.
