Opac’s retractable louvered hardtop was nominated for a DAME award in the Deck Equipment, Sails and Rigging category at this year’s Amsterdam METS marine equipment trade show.
The Turin-based manufacturer claims this is the first-ever automatic top of its type. The locking system allows it to remain open safely in any position, even at high speeds. When closed, water drains off the edges, while seals between the aluminum slats ensure that your boat interior remains dry.
The variable opening option allows users to choose the desired degree of ventilation and light. The hardtop is installed as a unit, custom manufactured to shipyard specifications. Operation can be either electrical or hydraulic.
