Smart watches, such as the Apple watch, have generated a lot of curiosity but haven’t necessarily translated into massive buys. This isn’t an issue for Italy-based Astra Yacht, which displayed its esa Watch during Grand Pavois 2016. This smart device is the only smart watch dedicated to the boating industry.
Not only does it provide standard smart watch features, such as email and Internet, but it also includes tailored boating apps, allowing displaying data navigation or assessing sail adjustments, and is IP65 waterproof.
An esa Watch costs €357. Incidentally, it is also able to tell the time.
